“It’s great to have another show in June and we’re looking forward to it after winning the race last year,” commented the Elk River, Minnesota native who currently runs 3rd in the series championship standings. “We’re going to work hard to have a great race track like last fall which put on a good show. The Dunkins are coming up to help out with the race track again so we’ll work hard on that as well as the overall promotion of the event and it should be a good fan experience. We’ll also have the non-wing sprint cars running with us so it’s shaping up to be a good event.”
If you’re in the Spencer area be sure to tune in to KICD 107.7 FM Friday morning as ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ will be a guest during the sports segment and share some thoughts on the 2012 season up to this point as well as the role of promoting racing.
Along with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt’, the Heartland Racing Association non-winged sprints will be in competition. Gates open at 5:00PM with cars hitting the track for hotlaps at 6:45PM.
Tickets will also be on sale during Friday’s program for September 14th when CDR Promotions once again brings the World of Outlaws back to Clay County Fair Speedway for their second visit of 2012.
