Tonight, the championship program for the 33rd annual USA Nationals officially begins at Cedar Lake Speedway.
World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series drivers will battle through a pair of heat races and dashes to determine the lineup for Saturday’s finale, which is concluded with the $50,000-to-win, $3,000-to-start, 100-lap feature.
In all, Friday’s show includes 10 Team Drydene Heat Races, a Morton Buildings Dash, a F.A.N.S. Fund Dash, and a full program of Cedar Lake Speedway local late models as well.

FIVE HEATS, ROUND ONE (12 Laps): Lineups set by pill draw. No transfers; drivers battle for passing points.
FIVE HEATS, ROUND TWO (12 Laps): Lineups inverted & randomized. Second chance to gain passing points.
PASSING POINTS LOCK-INS: The top 8 in combined passing points will keep their night alive and head to the Morton Buildings Dash. 9th-16th in passing points lock-in to Saturday’s USA Nationals feature. 17th & beyond will split into 2-3 Last Chance Showdowns on Saturday.
MORTON BUILDINGS DASH (8 Laps): Morton Buildings Redraw decides starting lineup for eight-lap dash. The finishing order will crown a pole winner and set the front four rows of the $50,000-to-win main event.
F.A.N.S. FUND DASH (12 Laps): Invited to the USA Nationals by a group of fans (over $25,000 given to help offset expenses), these 12 drivers will battle in the F.A.N.S. Fund Dash: Bobby Pierce, Kyle Strickler, Ross Bailes, Gordy Gundaker, Jason Feger, Rick Eckert, Tyler Carpenter, Chris Simpson, Jason Papich, Stormy Scott, Scott Ward, Rusty Griffaw.
