Tim Ryan Wins $4,450 as World of Outlaws Sprint Car iRacing Champion

BEDFORD, MA – October 23, 2018 – Australian racer Tim Ryan won the World of Outlaws Sprint Car iRacing Championship and takes home $4,450 for the championship and weekly purses throughout the season. With four wins, five top five’s and an average finish of sixth, Ryan edged second place finisher Alex Bergeron but just four points at seasons end.

iRACING — June 25, 2018 — The fourth round of the World Of Outlaws Craftsman Championship Sprint Car Series featured the Sprint Car Capital of the World: Knoxville Raceway. The action last night did not disappoint.

Quick time went to points leader Tim Ryan. He continues to put up consistently strong qualifying runs this season and held on to win the first Heat as well.

The World Of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Championship Series on iRacing made its third stop of the season at Limaland. This was the first time seeing the best winged Sprint Car Drivers on iRacing take on the tricky high banked bullring. It was evident early that the top side of the track was where speed was getting found, but as heats and mains went on, drivers began experimenting with the lower grooves, with some finding speed in the middle lane rather than up against the wall.

The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Championship Series had its second round at Charlotte, and for the second round in a row Tim Ryan put in Quick Time during Time Trials and went on to win the Feature.

Action picked up early in the heat races with drivers putting on some good racing in all four heats and finding a couple of different lines to make work in order to pick up spots, most of them running the higher line.

The Greatest Show on Dirt kicked off the first round of its pair of iRacing World Championships at the virtual Eldora Speedway. Thirty-five of the best virtual dirt Sprint Car drivers duked it out for 20 spots in the main event.

It looked as if fast time for qualifying would go to Alex Bergeron of Victory Lane Racing, but in the closing moments Australian Tim Ryan of Evolution Racing Team snatched the top spot with a hot lap of 13.336 seconds, the top 15 separated by a mere 0.2 seconds.

First-Ever World of Outlaws Championship Series Set to Kick Off May 7 on iRacing.com

Qualifying is done. The fields are set. Let the racing begin!

CONCORD, NC — April 30, 2018 —The World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Championship Series and the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Championship Series kick off on iRacing.com next month and will see the fastest online dirt racers compete for more than $30,000 in prize money.

The two series will run on alternating Monday nights beginning May 7th, with the racing broadcast on Dirtvision.com, Facebook and iRacing Live.

Kokomo Chosen by Fans as iRacing’s Next Dirt Track

BEDFORD, MA (October 18) – The World of Outlaws and iRacing.com hosted an online vote to determine the next dirt track to be added to the online racing service. Fans could choose from six well known venues including: Kokomo Speedway, Fairbury American Legion Speedway, Lernerville Speedway, Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55, Weedsport Speedway and Cedar Lake Speedway. Ultimately Kokomo Speedway edged out Fairbury by just 118 votes.

Seavey Tops Semmelmann and Bergeron at USA

Logan Seavey came out on top of Austen Simmelammn and Alex Bergeron after a race-long battle in this week’s iRacing World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series feature at USA International Speedway.

Although Seavey led from start-to-finish, that was no thanks to the determined Semmelmann who hounded the eventual winner every step of the way following the first and only caution of the evening. Semmelmann looked low and high for a way around Seavey to no avail. In the final laps Semmelmann appeared to have a slight edge running the high line but ran out of laps before he could make it work and finished a couple of car lengths behind Seavey.
