Tennessee Tipoff goes green Friday and Saturday, Thursday’s practice canceled

MARYVILLE, TN– April 25, 2018– The Tennessee Tipoff at Smoky Mountain Speedway will kick off on Friday, April 27 and conclude on Saturday, April 28. With sun and 70-degree temperatures forecast for the weekend, excitement is high for the big event. Track officials have canceled Thursday’s open practice due to the passing thunderstorms.

MARYVILLE, TN– April 25, 2018– This past weekend Mother Nature finally showed some mercy to the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series. After 62 days without being able to race due to bad weather, things certainly turned around in Meridian, MS with three beautiful days of thrilling dirt late model action. Brandon Sheppard and Billy Moyer Jr. found their way to Victory Lane on Friday and Saturday evening (April 20-21), cashing in $10,000 after the 50-lap events.

MERIDIAN, MS– April 21, 2018– The “House of Hook” at Whynot Motorsports Park lived up to its name on Saturday evening for the finale of the Queen City Shootout. The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series’ 50 lap feature event saw multiple lanes of hooked-up racing. When the checkered flag waved for the final time of the evening, it was Billy Moyer Jr. who was the best of the field claiming his first World of Outlaws win of the 2018 season and third all-time Series win.

CONCORD, NC– April 18, 2018– The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series is chomping at the bit to get back in action this week at Whynot Motorsports Park. While this may be the inaugural Queen City Shootout, this is the Series second visit to the “House of Hook” (first visit being on March 24, 2017).

Full-time World of Outlaws driver and 2018 rookie of the year contender David Breazeale will be making the shortest trip to the quarter-mile track in Meridian, MS from his hometown of Four Corners, MS. This is the only time the World of Outlaws will visit the state of Mississippi in 2018. Public Relations Coordinator Kayla May and Breazeale talked about the upcoming race in his home state. FARMER CITY, IL – April 13, 2018­– The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series’ Illini 100 weekend has been cancelled due to heavy thunderstorms sweeping across central Illinois. The Illini 100 will not be rescheduled due to the World of Outlaws busy 2018 schedule of events. The next World of Outlaws event will be at Whynot Motorsports Park on April 19-20-21 for the inaugural Queen City Shootout.

FARMER CITY, IL– April 12, 2018– The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series hit the track for practice at Farmer City Raceway on Thursday night before the 11th annual Illini 100 kicks off on Friday and Saturday. Two-nights of complete shows are in store for the blockbuster event on Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14. Friday’s show will consist of 25-laps with $6,000-to-win whereas the finale event on Saturday is 75-laps and $15,00-to-win.
