Kinser Leads Entire Race to Pick Up 9th Win of 2011  

Schatz finishes second as Tony Stewart Racing sweeps top spots 

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. — Sept. 17, 2011 — One night after flipping violently at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, Steve Kinser was back in victory lane for the 9th time as he dominated the Outlaws annual visit to Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minn. The driver of the #11 Bass Pro Shops/J.D. Byrider/Chevrolet started from the outside pole and grabbed the lead going down the back stretch. For the remainder of the 35 lap event, the entire field could only watch as Kinser ran away from the pack.

SPENCER, Iowa — Sept. 16, 2011 — Even though he had plenty to worry about by being the promoter of the event, Craig Dollansky scored his first World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series win at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa. The Elk River, Minn. native promoted the Arnold Motor Supply Shootout for the fifth straight year and picked up his ninth win of the season in his Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim.

Pesky Showers Wash Out Friday Night’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series Stop At Tri-City Speedway

PONTOON BEACH, IL – Sept. 16, 2011 – Light showers began falling during time trials and would not cease to allow the completion of Friday night’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Kehrer Brothers Roofing 50’ at Tri-City Speedway.

Track promoter Kevin Gundaker was finally forced to cancel the evening’s action after waiting in vain for the precipitation to clear the area at a reasonable time.

Gundaker will talk with WoO LMS officials to determine if a new date for the event can be arranged. Any news will be released on www.worldofoutlaws.com.

CHICO, Calif. — Sept. 9, 2011 — Paul McMahan had lady luck on his side as he picked up his fourth victory of the 2011 season at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. With a challenging racing surface, the Elk Grove, Calif. native made the best of his pole position starting spot to lead all 25 laps. The starting spot was by virtue of his win in the night’s dash. McMahan started the dash thanks to a drawing of six, which placed him on the front row.

Rain Washes Out Sunday Night’s ‘Joy Mining Machinery 50’ At Roaring Knob Motorsports Park

MARKLEYSBURG, PA – Sept. 4, 2011 – Heavy rain struck Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex late Sunday afternoon, forcing the cancelation of the evening’s ‘Joy Mining Machinery 50.’

The downpour hit shortly before the drivers’ meeting was scheduled to begin in advance of the first-ever World of Outlaws Late Model Series event at the three-eighths-mile oval. With the pit area and racetrack quickly swamped by the deluge and forecasts calling for more rain in the coming hours, officials made the decision to call off the night’s action.
