Tennessean holds off Meyers, Dollansky for 3rd win of ’11 at wild Michigan event 

LAKE ODESSA, Mich. — May 30, 2011 — Jason Sides was determined to win something with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series at I-96 Speedway on Monday night. The driver from Bartlett, Tenn., had purchased a body’s length of 50-50 tickets for the night’s draw and came up just short in his bid to win the $900 pot. Instead, Sides pocketed $10,000 as he took the checkered flag for the third time this season after outlasting the field on a night of attrition.

McMahan had filled in for injured Cody Darrah at Kasey Kahne Racing in 2010, even putting the car in victory lane at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. McMahan called Kahne and inquired about his future with the team.

Wet Weather Postpones Winchester Speedway’s World of Outlaws Late Model Series Event To June 18

WINCHESTER, VA – May 14, 2011 – Wet weather forced the postponement of Saturday night’s inaugural World of Outlaws Late Model Series event at Winchester Speedway.

Rain began falling at the one-third-mile oval during the morning hours and was forecast to pick up in intensity throughout the day, prompting track and series officials to reschedule the ‘Gunter’s Honey Spring 50’ to Sat., June 18.
