Kerry Madsen – Nine Short of 55!

(Bill W) October 19, 2012 – It looked like it was in the cards last Saturday for Kerry Madsen, but it was not to be.  Leading the Ironman 55 at the I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri on lap 47, he tangled with a lapped car and crashed.  The disappointment overshadowed a solid fourth place finish in the full program completed Saturday evening.  Kerry and the Keneric Racing #29 team have a few weeks off of racing until November’s World Finals in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Kraig Kinser Finishes Fifth in Both Ends of Pevely Doubleheader

Bloomington, Ind.—Oct. 14, 2012— Running 40 laps at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo., is a challenging task itself, let alone turning 95 laps in a single day against the best sprint car drivers in the world. That’s exactly what Kraig Kinser did on Saturday afternoon and evening at the high-banked one-third-mile bullring just outside of St. Louis, as the World of Outlaws completed the Ironman 55, which was postponed by rain in August, as well as running the Spring Classic that was rained out back in April. When the final checkered flag of the grueling day/night flew, Kinser found himself with a pair of Top-Five finishes aboard the Hendrickcars.com Maxim.

Dollansky Expanding with Big Game and Eyecon Trail Cameras

Tony Stewart Racing Teammates Lead Outlaws Back to St. Louis

INDIANAPOLIS (Oct. 11, 2012) – There couldn’t be a better time for the Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) tandem of Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz to return to St. Louis for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series final Midwest appearance of 2012. The fans in the region are known for their passion and, while many will revel in the St. Louis Cardinals’ bid to repeat as World Series champions, the grassroots Sprint car fans will enjoy one of the most exciting days of the season. Mother Nature may have taken the first two rounds in this battle this year, but all involved with Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo., are hoping this third time will be the charm.

A Busy Day for Kraig Kinser at Pevely with Two Races On-Tap

Kerry Madsen – On the Podium at the Grove Open!

(Bill W) October 10, 2012 – It was a solid week for Kerry Madsen and the Keneric Racing #29 team.  A third place finish in the prelim at the Morgan Hughes Williams Grove Open highlighted the last ten days.  The St. Mary’s, New South Wales, Australia native also came home a solid fourth in Saturday’s World of Outlaws run at the Rolling Wheels Raceway in New York.

Kinser Continues Dominance, Scores 12th Rolling Wheels Victory

Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz scored a one-two finish Saturday when the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returned to New York for the NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week XLI at Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, N.Y. Kinser continued his mastery of the 5/8-mile dirt oval by racing the TSR No. 11 Bass Pro Shops/J.D. Byrider/Chevrolet Maxim to victory in the 25-lap A-Feature, while Schatz extended his torrid late-season surge behind the wheel of the TSR No. 15 STP/Armor All/Chevrolet J&J by following Kinser across the finish line in the runner-up spot.

Dollansky Seventh at Rolling Wheels Revisit

 

Chilly temperatures in the Northeast greeted the Big Game Treestands #7 team on Saturday as they made their second and final visit of the season to Rolling Wheels Raceway Park as part of NAPA Auto Parts Super DIRT Week.  Making his thirteenth appearance at the track in New York, Craig Dollansky had a great record of 9 top-tens and 5 top-fives that included a runner-up finish earlier in May.

Kraig Kinser Perseveres at Rolling Wheels During Super DIRT Week Event

Bloomington, Ind.—Oct. 7, 2012— Oftentimes in racing, no matter how prepared a team is or how fast of a car they have, one little thing can go wrong and throw a monkey wrench in their night. For Kraig Kinser this came in the form of a trip to the work area on Saturday night at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park during the World of Outlaws event, while he running among the Top-10. Kinser would return to the track and pass a number of cars in the late going aboard the Hendrickcars.com Maxim to salvage a respectable finish.

Kraig Kinser Rolls into Rolling Wheels for Super DIRT Week Event

Bloomington, Ind.—Oct. 4, 2012— Super DIRT Week has been around for more than four decades, which is longer than the World of Outlaws have been in existence, and quite a few years more than Kraig Kinser has been around. The history and lore of the biggest week of racing in the Northeast is not lost on the 27-year-old though, as he made the trip to upstate New York with the World of Outlaws each fall since 2009.
