Kraig Kinser Finishes 10th at the Reconfigured I-96 Speedway

Bloomington, Ind. — June 3, 2012 — Kraig Kinser wasn’t really sure what to expect at the reconfigured I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Mich., on Saturday. He had success on the former half-mile track at the facility, but prior to the 2012 season, that bigger track was combined with the inner quarter-mile that was present to form the now three-eighths-mile surface that the World of Outlaws competed on.

Kinser, Schatz, Stewart Experience Highs and Lows on Dirt

Tony Stewart Racing (TSR) opened and closed the Memorial Day Weekend by competing with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series. The TSR contingent of Steve Kinser, Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart were in action in both North Carolina and Indiana. Friday’s Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway was filled with highs and lows for TSR. Kinser raced into the lead before blowing a tire, Stewart stormed from 12th to third before breaking a suspension component late in the race and Schatz charged from ninth and had a late shot at victory before finishing second. Monday’s stop at Lawrenceburg (Ind.) Speedway was more of survival on the high-banked oval with Kinser leading the TSR brigade by coming home fourth.

Closing in on a Win: Kraig Kinser Finishes Second at Lawrenceburg and Fourth at Charlotte

Bloomington, Ind. — May 28, 2012 — Kraig Kinser has said all season that the key to contending for wins was to be in the right spot and consistently run among the Top-Five. He did just that over the Memorial Day weekend, as he finished a season-best second at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana on Monday night, after battling Chad Kemenah for the top spot for several laps late in the race. The third-generation driver opened the weekend with a fourth-place showing at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on Friday night live on SPEED.

Dollansky Battles Back to the Podium at Charlotte

After picking up the win at the last World of Outlaws event on Sunday in Maryland, the Big Game Treestands #7 team traveled south to The Dirt Track at Charlotte in North Carolina for the Circle K NOS Energy Outlaw Showdown with the cameras rolling live on SPEED.  The night was very special for Craig Dollansky as son Garrett signed in for competition making his first career World of Outlaws start at age 18.
