Kraig Kinser Scores Season Best Fourth-Place Finish at Tri-State Speedway

Granger, IA—May 1, 2011—Patience is said to be a virtue. Kraig Kinser and the rest of the World of Outlaws certainly exhibited plenty of it over the last month, as Mother Nature interrupted three consecutive events. That patience paid off for the third generation driver on Saturday night, as he scored a season-best fourth-place finish at the historic Tri-State Speedway in his home state of Indiana, a track that Kinser cut his teeth on early in his career. The race was the first for the World of Outlaws since an April 2 contest at Calistoga Speedway in California, a span of 28 days.

A Home State Visit: Kraig Kinser Looks Forward to Event at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt

Granger, IA—April 27, 2011—Early in his career Kraig Kinser had the chance to race at numerous tracks in his home state of Indiana. Having been on the road for a number of years with the World of Outlaws, the opportunity to compete in the Hoosier state have become few and far between. This season the third generation driver will have two chances to race in front of the fans that saw him cut his teeth on the bullrings of the Hoosier State. The first of those two events will be come on Saturday, April 30 as the World of Outlaws make their  annual stop at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, which will serve as the season opener at the historic ¼-mile bullring.

Tony Stewart Racing Teams Look to Get Back in Action

INDIANAPOLIS (April 28, 2011) – It’s been a long month for the World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series competitors. After losing consecutive weekends of action to Mother Nature, Tony Stewart Racing’s (TSR) Steve Kinser and Donny Schatz will once again try to make their 2011 Midwest debut Saturday at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.  The Outlaws event will help kick-off one the busiest four weeks of motorsports in the Hoosier state.

Elite Racing Tackles Haubstadt and Salina

Mother Nature has definitely not been the World of Outlaws’ best friend this spring. As the Elite Racing team loaded up and traveled towards Oklahoma, they had to dodge storms in the St. Louis area before getting the news that the racing weekend had been washed out. With the team needing valuable track time, it seems like rain has spoiled every attempt they have made the past couple of weeks.

Kraig Kinser Gears up for Debut at Salina Highbanks Speedway in Oklahoma

Granger, IA—April 20, 2011—The World of Outlaws have visited around 200 tracks over the last 33-plus seasons in 39 different states, including stops at five tracks in the state of Oklahoma, but one track the series has never competed at is Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma. That will all change on Saturday, April 23 as the series will take to the high-banked 3/8-mile for the first time ever with a full night of racing on tap. For Kraig Kinser, the driver of the Casey’s General Store Maxim for Parsons Motorsports, it will mark the fourth track in the state of Oklahoma that he has competed at in his career with the series and will be the first time the series has been in action since April 2 at Calistoga Speedway in California.
