Sheppard Denies Moran at I-55
PEVELY, MO – July 1, 2018 – Brandon Sheppard denied Devin Moran of a weekend sweep on Saturday evening at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 as he claimed his sixth World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series win of the 2018 season.
Moran settled for second but it wasn’t for lack of effort. The young gun of Dresden, OH left it all on the line on the final lap of the Sears Craftsman Feature as he pulled a massive slider in front of Sheppard as the pair exited turn four and headed toward the checkered flag.

Sprint Car World Shaken by Loss of Jason Johnson
World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series driver Jason Johnson sustained fatal injuries in an accident at Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday, June 23, 2018.
During Lap 18 of the Jim Boyd Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway, Johnson was involved in a crash battling for the lead on the backstretch of the third-mile oval. Emergency crews quickly attended to the situation and transported Johnson via air to Aurora Medical Center, where he later succumbed to the injuries.
Johnson, 41, of Eunice, LA, is survived by his wife Bobbi and five-year-old son Jaxx.
Chris “Smokey” Madden Dominates the Firecracker 100

SARVER, PA — June 22, 2018 — Late Model driver Scott Bloomquist failed to report for his drug test at Lernerville Speedway for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series Firecracker 100. Officials from Drug Free Sport classified his absence as a “test refusal.” Bloomquist is disqualified from the event and will receive corresponding penalties as outlined in the World of Outlaws Substance Abuse Policy.
Michael Norris Crushed Friday’s Firecracker 100 Feature
SARVER, PA – JUNE 22, 2018 – Michael Norris defeated the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series regulars while defending his home turf at Lernerville Speedway during the second night of the 12th Annual Firecracker 100.
Norris had a perfect Friday night. He set the fastest qualifying time in Group B, collected his heat win by fending off a hard-charging Chris Madden, drew the pole position and led flag-to-flag in the 30-lap Sears Craftsman Feature event.

SARVER, PA – June 21, 2018 – Chris Madden collected his third World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series win of the 2018 season during the first of three nights for the Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway. With this victory, Madden slightly widens his lead over Mike Marlar by 8 points and 36 points over Brandon Sheppard in the point standings. Headed into the event, Madden and Marlar were separated by a slim two points, which is just a one position difference in the feature.

Bergeron Keeps the Streak Alive at Eldora Speedway
iRACING — June 18, 2018 — The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Championship Series was hosted at Eldora Speedway last night! This third race of the season didn’t disappoint as tricky conditions kept the competition’s hands full.
The #12 of Alex Bergeron snagged the first bragging right by qualifying on the pole. Teammate Howard Weaver was able to stay within a second of him in the first heat, with Matthew McKinney only a few tenths back in third. Casey Kirwan in the 14 moved up 4 spots from 8th to transfer directly to the feature. This was one of the largest runs through a heat race to make the show thus far this season.
