Free Fan Pit Pass: Dubuque Speedway and Farley Speedway

FARLEY, IA – June 19, 2018 – For the first time ever in the state of Iowa, dirt Late Model fans will be granted unprecedented access to the stars of the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series. Every ticket purchased in advance for the World of Outlaws events at Dubuque Speedway on July 6 and Farley Speedway on Aug. 6 will come with a free fan pit pass.

With special access to the pit area, fans will be able to meet their favorite drivers, watch crew members turn wrenches on the 800 horsepower machines, attend and listen to the drivers meeting, see lineups and results at the World of Outlaws command center and more.

Brandon Sheppard Prevails at Wayne County Speedway

ORRVILLE, OH – June 16, 2018– During the World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series fifth appearance at Wayne County Speedway, Brandon Sheppard collected his fifth Series win of the 2018 season. The Rocket1 Racing driver also became the first-ever repeat winner of the event.

Sheppard had a stand-out night at the 3/8-mile in Orrville, Ohio collecting the PFC Brakes Fast Time Award, his heat win and ultimately the $10,000-to-win Sears Craftsman Feature. Furthermore, Sheppard and his team proved to be on the rebound of some early season woes by collecting two wins and a second-place finish of the last three World of Outlaws races.

Marlar Rocks Ransomville Return

RANSOMVILLE, NY – June 15, 2018 – The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series returned to Ransomville Speedway for the first time in 13 years on Friday evening and the Sears Craftsman Feature proved to be worth the wait.

The 50-lap event saw three different race leaders but it was Mike Marlar who claimed the victory and the $10,000 payday. The driver out of Winfield, TN commandeered the lead of the feature with only 10 laps remaining in the event bypassing Brandon Sheppard, Chase Junghans, Chris Madden and Chub Frank for the top spot.

Contact at Stateline Speedway Causes Controversy Between Sheppard and Madden

BUSTI, NY – June 14, 2018 – Brandon Sheppard collected his fourth World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series win of the 2018 season at Stateline Speedway on Thursday evening. The New Berlin, IL driver hijacked the lead from Chris Madden on lap 35 after a restart. As the drivers headed into turn two, contact was made ultimately sending Madden in a 180-degree spin and to a complete stop. Madden, who had led every lap up until that point, was then sent to the tail of the field.

CONCORD, NC– June 4, 2018–The 12th annual Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway is just around the corner. Both fans and drivers look forward to three days of racing and three times the party. The party starts on Thursday, June 21, continues on Friday, June, 22 and concludes on Saturday, June 23.

All three nights contain complete Sears Craftsman shootouts with $6,000-to-win on both Thursday and Friday. The finale event begins on Saturday as the stars of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Models Series alongside other national and regional drivers compete in the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100-lap Sears Craftsman Feature event.

Owens Slides By Madden for Win at Volunteer Speedway

BULLS GAP, TN – June 2, 2018 – Jimmy Owens of Newport, TN collected his second World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series win of the 2018 season after a thrilling feature event at Volunteer Speedway. Owens and Chris Madden battled for the lead for the majority of the race until Owens successfully completed the pass on lap 47 of the 50-lap Sears Craftsman Feature. The Newport Nightmare’s victory brought the crowd to its feet in jubilation.

Cory Hedgecock Collects First Outlaws Win

SEYMOUR, TN- June 1, 2018- On Friday evening, Cory Hedgecock collected the biggest win of his career in front of a packed house at 411 Motor Speedway. The Loudon, TN driver etched his name on the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series All-Time Wins list alongside the greatest Late Model drivers in history.

“I knew if I ever had a chance at winning one of these races, it was no doubt going to be here,” said Hedgecock. “I am tickled to death… This track was absolutely phenomenal tonight… We were no doubt going to wreck her or bring her home.”

For the second round of the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Championship Series, the greatest virtual late model drivers traveled to the tricky Limaland circuit. This 1/4-mile dirt track sees a lot of racing up high, but interesting opportunities to make moves present themselves in lower lanes when track conditions get right.

Initially the #35 of Nick Cooper looked like the car to beat after putting in fast time in qualifying and dominating his heat race, but the rest of the quartet of heat race winners of Bergeron, Fidler, and McKinney showed they were forces to be reckoned with before the Feature ever started.

World of Outlaws Competition Heats Up in June

CONCORD, NC­– May 26, 2018– The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series has completed 12 races so far this season, and by the end of June that number will nearly double. On the docket for next month are 10 races in six separate states, including Tennessee, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana and Missouri.

The most demanding stretch of racing in June will be mid-month with three stops at three separate tracks in two states: Stateline Speedway in Jamestown, NY on June 14; Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, NY on June 15; and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH on June 16. Full-time World of Outlaws drivers and their teams will travel almost 400 miles between the trio of dirt tracks to face regional competitors in New York and Ohio who dare stand nose-to-nose with the toughest bunch in Late Model racing.
